1. Selling Section (Complete)

This section outlines the core terms governing the sale of products by ASHRAJ FASHION PRIVATE LIMITED (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) to customers through the website bazaardenim.com. By placing an order, the customer agrees to the following sales terms:

  • Product Ownership: The ownership of the products shall pass from the Company to the customer only upon full payment of the order amount (including shipping charges, if applicable) and successful delivery of the products.
  • Order Confirmation: Upon receiving the customer’s order, the Company will send an order confirmation email to the registered email address, containing order details, expected dispatch date, and tracking information (once available).
  • Stock Availability: The Company reserves the right to cancel or modify an order if the ordered product is out of stock or unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, the customer will be promptly notified, and a full refund will be processed within 3-5 business days.
  • Product Quality: The Company ensures that all products are of good quality, free from defects, and conform to the descriptions provided on the website. Any discrepancy in product quality must be reported by the customer within 24 hours of delivery.

2. Shipping Methods & Delivery Timelines

  • Domestic Shipping: Standard delivery time is 3–7 business days from the date of dispatch. Expedited delivery options are available at an additional cost, with a delivery timeline of 1–3 business days.
  • International Shipping: Currently, the Company does not offer international shipping. This service may be introduced in the future, and updates will be posted on the website.
  • Local Delivery: For customers located in Kolkata (West Bengal), same-day delivery is available for orders placed before 12:00 PM (noon), and next-day delivery is available for orders placed after 12:00 PM. Local delivery is subject to order value (minimum ₹500) and serviceable areas within Kolkata.

3. Shipping Charges

  • Free Shipping: Free domestic shipping is offered for orders with a total value of ₹1,000 or more. This offer is applicable only for standard delivery and excludes expedited or local delivery charges.
  • Flat Rate Shipping: A flat rate of ₹80 is charged for domestic standard delivery on orders below ₹1,000.
  • Variable Rates: For expedited delivery and local same-day/next-day delivery, shipping charges are calculated based on the order weight, dimensions, and delivery distance. The exact charge will be displayed at the time of checkout.

4. Order Processing Time

Orders are processed within 1–2 business days from the date of order placement. Processing time includes order verification, product packaging, and handover to the courier partner. Processing time is separate from delivery time and does not include weekends or public holidays.

5. Courier Partners

The Company collaborates with trusted logistics partners to ensure timely and secure delivery of orders. Our primary courier partners include Delhivery, Blue Dart, and Ekart. The courier partner for each order is assigned based on the delivery location and order type.

6. Order Tracking

Once an order is dispatched, the customer will receive a dispatch confirmation email containing a unique tracking number. Customers can track their order status by entering the tracking number on the “Order Tracking” page of the website or through the courier partner’s official website/app.

7. Returns & Exchanges

For details on returns and exchanges, please refer to the Company’s separate “Return & Refund Policy”. In summary, customers may request a return or exchange within 7 days of delivery, provided the product is unused, unwashed, in its original packaging, and with all original tags intact. Return shipping costs are borne by the customer, except in cases of product defects.

8. Cash on Delivery (COD)

COD is available for domestic orders with a total value between ₹300 and ₹10,000. An additional COD charge of ₹50 is applicable for all COD orders. COD is not available for expedited delivery, local same-day delivery, or orders above ₹10,000.

9. Shipping Restrictions

Delivery is not available to the following areas: remote rural areas with no courier service coverage, restricted military zones, and areas under government-imposed lockdown or restrictions. Additionally, fragile products (if any) are only available for delivery within major cities and are subject to additional packaging charges. The Company reserves the right to restrict delivery to any area due to logistical constraints or regulatory requirements.

10. IT Act & Consumer Protection Compliance

  • IT Act Compliance: This Shipping Policy and all related services comply with the provisions of the Digital India Act 2026 (replacing the outdated IT Act 2000), ensuring the protection of customer data, secure online transactions, and adherence to digital governance standards.
  • Consumer Protection Compliance: The Company strictly adheres to the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. Customers have the right to seek redressal for any grievances related to shipping, delivery, or product quality.
